I have been to Marineland, the Dolphins are in basically a swimming pool with music so loud that my ears hurt. I could only imagine how painful that must be for the Dolphins considering sound travels through water much more effectively. There looked to be 15 or so Beluga whales in a relatively small tank. There was also one Orca that swam in circles, in what is in relative terms to an Orca a bathtub. Not only were the ocean animals in bad places but the Black Bears looked sick, their water was so brown and disgusting that the bears seemed to avoid it. I remember there was garbage floating in the water. Total neglect as far as I was concerned. They also had some small deer that people could purchase feed for them to eat. There were quite a few that did not walk, they stood in the corners some shaking. When we got closer we could tell that they were sick and injured. I can not take back the money that I spent there, but I can try and help others from making the same mistake I made. By Boycotting marineland we affect their bottom line. The big corporations only understand money. We take that away from them we can effect change. Please join me and sign this petition, lets make a difference.
