Acknowledge and award choreographers in film

In 1938 Best Dance Direction was the last time it was a category for The Oscars. The Golden Globes currently do not have a category for choreographers in their award ceremonies.  Choreographers are not being recognized or rewarded for their work in films. Sign this petition so these talented human beings get what they deserve.

If you care about the arts staying alive, sign this position. Dance is super important to acknowledge, but the creators of dance performances are not getting the recognition they deserve. Choreographers should have a category in the Oscars and Golden Globes to celebrate and award their creativity.
