Stop Child Illiteracy, Free Education For Displaced Kids!

Since late 2016, an active conflict has been ongoing in Anglophone Cameroon, leading to the displacement of around 900,000 people and the deaths of at least 8,000 individuals.

This has resulted in children being separated from their parents, with many unable to attend school due to the political conflict. Over 80% of schools have been closed, with at least 74 schools destroyed, and students, teachers, and school personnel exposed to violence, abduction, and intimidation. Many individuals have fled to urban communities, leading to an increase in population and a shortage of English-speaking schools.

For internally displaced children, it is difficult to afford the high cost of education and standard of living in urban areas, and even if they can afford it, there are few English schools available.

Freedom Worldwide Mission is planning to set up an educational rehabilitation center in the affected region and is asking for your public opinion about this.

The Educational Rehabilitation Center aims to help these children fast track their education to get them back on track with their peers. The Center's curriculum compresses elementary to high school education in five years, making it possible for children who have missed six years of school to catch up.

We demand that the rehabilitation center should provide this training free to all displaced Cameroonian kids as a result of the crises.

Sign today and tell Freedom Worldwide Mission that we approve their move and also request that this center should provide this training free to all displaced kids!
