ROBERT TIMOTHY RAPANA SHDNT BE RELEASED ON BAIL

December 2014 Chevy Midas Davis 24yrs old was stabbed at his family members 21st after an altercation with the Rapana and died. another family member was also stabbed and almost lost his life. Rapana and his partner had gone to the 21st armed with the knife used in the murder.Togiaono had started the incident by taunting Chevy who finally had enough and the accused was told to leave.They wdnt leave which lead to Rapana pulling out his knife and stabbed the two victims. The accused have been released on bail until trial November 23 November 2015. We think its not right for these two to be in any community and there is a risk to public safety as they could reoffend. We want these two accused remanded back in custody; not on bail. The nz justice system need to change the Bail Amendment Act so it does not allow people charged with high violent crimes such as murder to be released on bail. Its not fair on the victims family or the public of New Zealand. PLEASE help us all we want is justice and for these two people to be put back behind bars so please sign this petition.Thankyou on behalf of the Davis family

Dear Amy Adams  I am writing on behalf of the victims family as its not right that the legislation/bail amendment act allows for criminals charged with highly violent crimes to be released on bail. My family are suffering endless grief and it does not help knowing the murder accused is in among the community and the public is not allowed to know where they are due to suppression made by judge.I also think that is a risk to public safety as they could reoffend because they have already proved they are dangerous. All we want is justice by the two being remanded in custody until their sentenced in November. We do not want these two free on bail. Please help us thankyou

HI SORRY ITS BEEN A WHILE.THE COURT HEARING THAT WAS MEANT TO BE HELD ON APRIL 8 WAS POSTPONED UNTIL JUNE 10 2015 AT AUCKLAND HIGH COURT.WE ARE PLANNING A STREET MARCH ON THAT DAY..THERE HAVE BEEN ALOT MORE SIGNATURES FROM STREET PETITIONS THAT OUR SUPPORTERS HAVE BEEN HELPING WITH IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF NZ.WE ARE SO GRATEFUL.THANKYOU.WE HVE SUPPORT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES AS WELL.PLEASE KEEP UP GD WORK AND I WILL UPDATE SOON.THANKYOU AGAIN:-)
