Demand the Paint Color Stays for 129 Whisper Ridge Drive

The color of choice was approved by the Architectural Committee of the HOA. We specified a brand and color number so they could review the color themselves rather than through an e-mail. The color we submitted was, SW9090 Caraibe. When reviewing the cost of this particular brand, Sherwin Williams, it was significantly higher in cost than that of the Behr brand. By using a color comparison app, we established Behr's similar color to that of Sherwin Williams. The color that is similar in comparision is the N230-7 Rustic Tobacco. The bylaws and covenants do not specify that it has to be the brand that was approved but the color. The home is already painted as we received approval for the Caraibe color. The Architectural Committee is now asking us to repaint using the specific brand approval though the actual color (Rustic Tobacco) is similar in shade. Please help us fight the discrimination and one way voting amongst our HOA.
