Tell Missouri Lawmaker to Resign for Decapitating Live Chicken in Facebook Video!

What does slaughtering a chicken have to do with banning abortion? Nothing, except for the fact that they were both the subject of a truly deranged video made by Missouri lawmaker Mike Moon.

On Monday, Moon posted a video on Facebook of himself decapitating a live chicken with his bare hands while announcing a new bill aimed at banning abortions in the state. The video then shows him pulling the chicken’s organs out, finishing with the chicken’s heart.

It’s a truly disturbing video. Mike Moon must resign now.

Moon says a lot of nonsensical stuff in the video, but never quite explains why it was necessary to cruelly kill a chicken while announcing the anti-abortion bill. The reality is, there is no justification. This was evidence that Moon lacks the judgement and temperament we should expect from our leaders.
