EDEN TX CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: STOP BURRO ROPING EVENT 9-29-12 IN EDEN TEXAS

On Eden Tx Event web page they have an addendum note that no burro roping will take place. They can add anything to a web page. I HAVE REQUESTED A FORMAL WRITTEN NOTICE SIGNED BY AN EDEN TX CITY OFFICIAL THAT THE BURRO ROPING EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Not just that it is not taking place as that can be construed that it wasn't scheduled in the first place and they are just noting its not taking place. If they state it is cancelled it is admitting it was on the scheduled event list, which it was.

I will keep you posted. Remember there is an exclusive Burro only rodeo in October we need to get cancelled as well. I am hoping that the pressure from this petition will spur (no pun intended!) them on to cancel it. If not look forward to a specific petition targeting that rodeo.
