Alfie has a very rare condition MECP2 Syndrome which affects very very few.
Unfortunately Alfie has this condition.
The Alfie Lund Fund was set up to raise awareness of this condition and from that. Alfie's family started asking fans from different football clubs to donate either a flag or a scarf from their respective club/s to make a chain.
The response has been phenomenology and the chain now stands above 4 MILES long.
The family have travelled the length and breadth of the UK and have also been inundated with apparel from foreign shores.
