Rhinos are being poached at a rate faster than ever predicted. They are being poached brutally for the apparent medicinal value of their horn.
Fact: Rhino horn is made of keratin, same stuff our nails are made of and has absolutely no medicinal value of any kind.
The Price of rhino horn on the black market is worth more than gold and heroine per gram. That speaks for itself!
The last resort is to trim off the rhino horn (a harmless procedure.) which grows back 5-6 cm a year. We do this in the sole aim to protect the animal. Trim the horn, take away the reason why they are being slaughtered and at least give them a chance to survive.
Our ultimate goal is to start up a Sustainable Survival Santuary ''The Ark'' that will aim towards the protection and research of these animals and other endangered species.
