This petition is pertaining to the recent move from EMO Bookstores on-campus in Monash University Malaysia to transition their physical bookstore into an online platform. Although technology paves the way to ease in today's society, the absence of a physical bookstore is inconvenient and further problematic to the students on-campus. Gone are the days when we could rush between classes to pick up stationary and notebooks, or to acquire textbooks for classes without going through the hassle of online purchasing. Moreover, as a university, the number one priority is providing their students with quality education as well as easing their journey through academia. The campus bookstore not only provided ease but it was also symbolic in addressing the university's compassion towards their students and their plight to success. Our request is simple; bring back a physical bookstore on-campus!
