carers get £62 a week to carer for our most vulnerable up to 18 hrs a day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year this is = to around 50p a hour pure slavery carers do this extremely difficult job[ watching mum /dad/own children slowly deteriorate and die ] because in the uk we have a serious lack of properly run care facilities most current ones are so bad they are not fit for purpose [ local council run not central government] its high time these selfless people get the true recognition that they really deserve [ THIS WHILE MPS GIVE THEM SELVES A PAY RISE = TO 2 YRS CARERS ALLOWANCE ] im not asking for min wage for these people just a better standard of living [ little known fact when a disabled person reaches 25 yrs old there carer loses £15 a week housing benefit even though the person who is disable doesn't get any extra money this is something that the carer has to pay or be taken to court ] the average care costs for a medium to high care standard person is £3500 a week if in a state run facility and a high dependant around £5500 yet if you opt to give your family member a better quality of care than is offered in most facilities your given £62 PLZ LETS GET A BETTER DEAL FOR THIS TIRELESS ARMY [500,000] OF CARERS WHO DESERVE MORE THAN THEY GET plz dont forget they save the tax payer £245 million a week [if they all stopped working that's the rough cost to government to do the job ] and many have paid there taxes
