Repeal the 17th Amendment
We the undersigned oppose the 17th Amendment and are in favor of its repeal because it has fundamentally transformed our constitution by consolidating power in which foreign powers, the federal government via its agencies, corporate and special interests have undue influence over our non-representing representatives, it nullifies states rights and allows non statesmen and career politicians to runrough shod over our individual liberties.
In the decades since the 17th Amendment has passed we have seen Congress abdicate it's power to the Federal Reserve, create a wealth reducing income tax scheme that keeps the poor in poverty and destroys the Republican form of government.
With the 17th Amendment many senators have actually given their loyalties to an unelected global government by supporting such treasonous acts as gun control, Agenda 21, population reduction via abortion and a national health care scheme.
The consolidation of power, the illusion of a democracy, jobs sent overseas, the value of the dollar eroded by a tiny minority created by the 17th Amendment have all contributed to less power to the people, less wealth accumulation for the common man and a lower standard of living.
For this, the 17th Amendment requires repeal. Please repeal it and go back to the original intention of our founders and framers of the constitution.
This information will ultimately be presented to members of the state legislature, various members of the Congress and Senate.
