Don't let Trump end the Energy Star program

Trump is trying to get rid of Energy Star, the enormously popular program that saves Americans about $40 billion a year in energy costs, and has broad and wide support from consumers and industry groups alike.

Energy Star was created by George H.W. Bush and later signed into law by a Republican Congress. The program certifies over 50 different types of household appliances based on energy efficiency, and has saved consumers about $500 billion over the past 3 decades – just by helping people make energy-efficient choices on their own.

There's absolutely no reason for Trump to cut this successful and well-known program. He's just being vindictive and hostile to any government program that actually helps the American people. Join us in demanding Trump leave Energy Star alone! >>
