We all know that social media has caused a lot of drama in people's lives, but what made it a lot worse was live streaming; many people have used live streaming to do all sorts of dangerous acts, from committing suicide to killing someone, it brings out the worst in people. The main live streaming platform I want to talk about is Live.Me; On Live.Me many underage girls have been exploited on it and have been given these virtual currencies called "gifts" from predators to perform sexual acts, most of the broadcasters on there are extremely hateful and create a toxic environment, the broadcasters can spew all sorts of venom to people and get away with it, people get blocked for no reason, cyberbullying is allowed, and it's become the most elitist form of social media; Live.Me and all of the other live streaming apps are nothing but a tank of sharks, it's not fit for people's mental health, and we need to think about the most vulnerable among us, to keep them safe; also I find it ridiculous for broadcasters to film themselves doing mundane things and calling themselves celebrities and getting paid for it, it's a joke; these people are throwing their lives away; I don't like Facebook, but it's nowhere near as toxic as Live.Me and these other live streaming apps, they need to be shut down.
