Support the Creation of the Religious Alliance Club

In this waking political era every where you turn you can find a target on your back, rather it’s based off of ones race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic ranking, and or religion. Here in Palatine High School we don’t see an emphasis on a safe space for students of any religion. The establishment of my Religious Alliance Club will make it a mission to have academic discourse around the culture of religion not only here in palatine but the implications of religion on the dominant culture, on political relationships, etc. Students of all religions will be welcome to participate in these discussions and take part of any members religious customs/culture, if comfortable. It will be hosted biweekly and we will take in account everyone’s differing beliefs in order to make it a safe space for all.
