Close Reid Airport Now

For over 40 years the Cassell Community has been subjected to lead contaminated air caused by the single piston airplanes flying in and out of Reid Hillview Airport. Our children have been damaged by this on-going lead exposure as Reid Hillview Airport is located in the middle of a minority a residential neighborhood. There are approximately 187 schools and child care facilities in this area.
In young children lead causes learning disabilities, respiratory problems, weight loss, fatigue and a lower I. Q.

After 30 years of breathing this lead contaminated air, the lead settles in the bones. For older adults this causes high blood pressure, joint and muscle pain, cancer, difficulty with memory, hearing loss, and other heart related issues.
