Demand a National Museum of the American Civil War. Remove the artifacts and assemble the full and honest story in a museum.

We as a nation are politically polarized and Civil War memorials have become a flash point for that polarization to play out. It's time we remove the many statues and artifacts that dot our land and consolidate them in a national museum. Here, experts from multiple perspectives can fully tell the story leading up to and through the Civil War. Today, politics is shaping our thinking about the truths of that period. It's time to desensitize these monuments and provide American's the story of our past as we have done with war museums, The African American Museum, The Native American Museum, etc.
