Venezuelan families are suffering. Pledge your support

Venezuela is in crisis. Hyperinflation means that prices for most items double about once every four weeks, making everyday goods difficult to purchase. On top of this economic turmoil, people living in Venezuala face food shortages and power outages.

Millions have fled already, and the world has largely ignored their plight.

Lutheran World Relief will not abandon the people of Venezuela in their time of need. Our emergency operations are designed to address the most urgent and basic needs of these communities — including women and children, who are often the most vulnerable — while also promoting sustainable recovery and building resilience to future disasters.

For many of the people of Venezuela, leaving the country is their best option. We want to make sure they aren't left out in the cold. In neighboring Peru, where many Venezualans are seeking refuge, we are workikng with local partners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those who flee. That means providing them with hot meals, and connecting them with the resources they need.

But none of this critical work is possible without the ongoing support of people like you. Will you pledge your support today to the emergency relief efforts for those fleeing Venezuela?

Showing the people of Venezuela that we recognize their suffering is the first step. Beyond that, we will provide the emergency response to address the most immediate needs, while committing to the long term development efforts that will help Venezuela recover and thrive.

Will you join us? Please, sign today and send a message to the people of Venezuela that you're in their corner.
