Cop Shoots Family Dog In The Head

Remington is a three-year-old chocolate lab, beloved by his family in Wisconsin. Recently, he left the house to greet a police officer. And instead of getting a nice petting session like he probably expected, Remington was shot in the head. 

Luckily, Remington survived, but he still has a bullet stuck in his head and the police department won't pay for his therapy and medical care.

Sign this petition to demand the Marinette Police Department pays for all of the therapy Remington needs.

It is a miracle this dog even survived and it is a tragedy that a cop decided to shoot a friendly pup for no reason. The cop is not suffering any consquences for this act of aggression. The least the department could do is pay for Remington's full medical bills.

Really sad news to report - Remington passed away early last Saturday morning, his owners just let us know. Even more stressful? The police department has still not paid for any of Remington’s health care in the last year and a half. His sweet family is still trying to catch up on bills, and they want to provide him with a proper burial. If you can support them financially, please visit their GoFundMe page.

Remington continues to require a lot of medical attention and therapy. His doctors say removing the bullet would be too risky. Instead, they are focusing on other treatment and therapies. We are still trying to urge the department to pay for all of these medical bills, but in the meantime, you can donate to this gofundme so Remington can see his doctor.
