Already have new affordable housing at the new 5 Mile Park estate, and existing social housing in Seaton Burn, Dudley, Hazelrigg and Wideopen
Loss of well loved and used green area by the community for dog walking, children playing and horse riding.
Fears that this will lead to further development along the burn pathway
Strain on services (doctors and dentists)
Parking and traffic problems
Closing in the green spaces between Wideopen andSeaton Burn
Already 8000 affordable Bernicia Homes in the North East 2000 of which are in Tyne and Wear
Bernicia wish to develop houses that meet a 'Wide range of housing needs' this proposed development has only one and two bedroom properties we feel that this is not wide ranging.
