Help Rescue Bay Area Pets

Animal rescue isn't all about raiding dog fighting rings or intensive breeding programs. In the East Bay, one of the biggest animal welfare challenges we face is pet parents forced to surrender their animals because they can't afford to keep them.

At the East Bay SPCA, we are working to address this challenge in two ways: providing discounted veterinary services and pet nutrition assistance to help keep pets with their owners; and to ensure that every surrendered pet gets the second chance it deserves.

To do this, we need the support of local animal lovers like you.

We've been creating better outcomes for people and animals like Pluto, Neptune, and Jupiter (pictured above) in our community since 1874. We strive to eliminate animal cruelty, neglect and overpopulation by providing programs and education that support people and companion animals.
