1.) The current HOA regulations and Davis-Stirling Act provide regulations and guidelines on access to financial and legal records for this HOA.
2.) The proposed changes do not provide the necessary oversite and financial controls to protect association assets and interest.
3.) Over the past few years a conflict of interest went undisclosed: The manager of the facility contracted with his father and with board agreement this went undisclosed to homeowners, a violation of HOA rules and accepted practices.
4.) To provide better oversite and protection for homeowners access should be made less difficult and more transparent by using current technology to post all documents to an area that may be easily accessed by all.
