Tell the UK government to reverse cuts to life-saving aid

The UK government has cut international aid by 40%. This means more hunger and sickness around the world. If you believe this isn't right, add your voice to our petition.

In 2025, the UK government announced drastic cuts to life-saving aid, reducing it from 0.5% to 0.3% of national income, the lowest level in decades.

This comes at a time when over 200 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance and hunger is rising globally.

We know that aid works. It prevents extreme hunger, funds emergency healthcare and helps rebuild lives after earthquakes, floods and conflict. Aid saves lives and helps build a more stable world.

The consequences of these cuts are real:

  • Less healthcare
  • Less education
  • Less clean water
  • Less stability
  • Less hope

Cuts to aid hit those already pushed to the margins the hardest, especially women and girls.
