Don't Let Trump Dismantle Our National Monuments

President Trump recently removed protections for more than two million acres of public lands in the American West. This unprecedented assault amounts to the largest-ever elimination of protected areas in U.S. history, and he likely won't stop there.

By stripping protections for Utah's Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, the Trump administration has put Native American sacred sites, archaeological treasures, iconic landscapes and important wildlife habitat in the cross-hairs of fossil fuel interests.

It is clear that the president wants nothing more than to turn our precious public lands into profit centers for drilling and mining.  

We have a moral obligation to stand up to this polluter-friendly administration and protect these irreplaceable lands for future generations.
