Put a PERMANENT ban on shark culling and find non-lethal solutions to keep humans and sharks safe from each other

Shark culling is a cruel and ineffective method of controlling shark populations. Large sharks like great white sharks and tiger sharks play an important roll in the marine ecosystem keeping fish populations and seal populations in check, and they maintain a balance by doing so. Most ocean users oppose the shark cull on ethical grounds. The only ones who support the cull are idiots like Vic Hislop pictured above, who killed this massive great white shark just for fun! Hislop is using the shark attacks as an excuse so he can be allowed to kill sharks for sport again, and he has been working on this since the late 1990s. There are alternatives to shark culling -

1. SharkSafe Barrier - Shark expert Craig O, Connell created the SharkSafe Barrier and it works! The SharkSafe Barrier is an artificial kelp forest made of magnets that separates surfers and swimmers from sharks. The SharkSafe Barrier emits an electrical signal so powerful that sharks can't go through it. It is expensive, and you may need funding from Australian banks in order to fund it.

2. The Eco Shark Barrier can be used to separate the surfers and swimmers from the sharks. It's made of nylon mesh. Small fish can pass through, but sharks and other sea creatures can't, because it is tightly secured. It was developed in Perth, Australia.

3. A Buoy that plays loud, strange, unusual sounds has been tested by scientists, and has been shown to scare away sharks. Lining up several of these buoys separating the surfers and swimmers from the beach can stop sharks from coming in, as long as they continually play the loud, unusual, noises, non stop.

4. Relocating great white sharks and tiger sharks as well as other large dangerous shark species - Relocating sharks repeatedly in Brazil has been surprisingly effective. By being relocated time and time again, the sharks eventually don't come back to the beaches. However, in order to relocate great white sharks, you are going to need a massive boat to do that. (no pun intended!).

5. Bubble Curtains - Separating the surfers and swimmers away from the sharks with bubble curtains can be surprisingly effective. Scientists in Western Australia have found that bubble curtains interfere with the shark's ability to sense prey, and the sharks just don't go through the bubble curtains.
