Tell Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to reject the Keystone XL pipeline
One of the first acts of the Trump Administration was to revive the Keystone XL pipeline, which President Obama had finally rejected due to its serious climate impacts. The pipeline would move tar sands oil from Canada to Texas refineries, traveling thousands of miles through America's heartland and putting critical drinking water supplies including the Ogallala Aquifer at risk for spills.
But perhaps worst is that building the Keystone XL pipeline would add to the pollution that’s destabilizing our climate, making America less secure now and endangering our children’s future. It also undermines the promise America made to reduce our carbon emissions.
Urge Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to reject the Keystone XL pipeline.
