Hey Maine Legislature! Override that Veto and Protect LGBT Youth!

Governor Paul LePage has vetoed LD 912, a bill that would have simply banned licensed therapists from offering dangerous and entirely unnecessary anti-gay "cure therapy".

LePage is wrong when he states that parents have a right to seek therapists that will provide cure therapies, and that kind of thinking is precisely why this ban is so necessary to safeguard LGBT youth.

Please act today and sign this petition to tell the Maine legislature to override the veto and help save LGBT kids. Being LGBT is not an illness and the law must respect and protect that.
