Demand the showning of Ava Duvernay movie called 13th Amendment at the PEHS without consent from parnents, Now!

The majority of children that attend schools like Plainfield East High School are unaware of how this Amendment affects our society as a whole. Because of this, the white children are desensitized to issue that plague our African American student body. I feel like displaying actions like these are egregious and racist. PEHS will not show the 13th Amendment movie unless consent by parents is signed. However, our children are forced to watch the Holocaust movie without any consent along with hosting survivors.
