When poverty, conflict, and disaster strike, children are the most vulnerable. They are orphaned and abandoned every day, and often have nowhere to turn.

But we know what every child needs — and what they deserve: The support and care of a loving home and family.

That’s why we have dedicated our work to providing homes and SOS Mothers to over 80,000 children around the world. SOS Children’s Villages is the largest organization helping orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children, and we’ve worked tirelessly to support them for over 65 years.

We've helped children like 4-year-old Tarek, who fled Syria when his home was destroyed. Before he arrived at an SOS Village, he was living on the streets of Beirut, with only a cardboard box for shelter.
