Clique Movie Boycotting Petition
How many of you know someone that auditioned for the Clique Movie via Sugarloot.com? Most of the girls that auditioned for parts in the movie online figured that they would get a part as someone in "The Pretty Committee" if they won the contest. Instead the five winners were promised auditions for the movie and only one was accepted. And she did not even get main part. Instead, she was stuck as an extra who has one scene. The entire contest was simply a ploy to expand the publicity of the Clique Movie and ended up crushing the dreams of millions of young hopeful girls. We should stand up against Lisi Harrison and the Clique Movie to show them that they cannot just wreck young girl's dreams in order to gain publicity. If you sign this petition, you are saying that you will not watch the Clique Movie. And if you really want to, what you can do is get a group of friends together and one of you buys the movie. SO that way the Clique Movie is losing profits from lack of views. Let us show those cruel people that they cannot stomp all over the dreams of young girls just to make their movie more popular!
Dear Clique Movie participants,
I, myself, knew a young girl who hoped to be in the Clique Movie. She waited for years and years and when she found out about the contest, she flipped. Her father went to buy her a webcam just for this movie. She put in hours of practice and memorization for what? Nothing. She could hardly call auditioning for this movie professional experience to put on her resume in the future. The organization gave 5 lucky girls the chance to come to LA and audition for the movie. To give you my personal opinion, none of them were very good actresses, and I believe that they were chosen mostly based on looks. Then only one girl was accepted to be in the actual movie and she was stuck as an extra who appears in one scene. The whole contest was actually a ploy to gain publicity and I stand to make sure that plan backfires!
