Ban on interstate shipping of pets

We, the undersigned, request a ban on shipping any puppies, kittens or small animals or birds, into New York State. There are plenty of animals within the state to purchase and to adopt from shelters. The trucking of these animals often results in death, illness and is psychologically damaging. Thank you.
