BAN TASERS

The taser is an deadly weapon which kills. In theory, it is supposed to be a kind of "stun-gun", incapacitating an armed person with a huge electric shock. In reality, it is now being used in all kinds of situations against all kinds of people, including 11 year old children and nonviolent peace protestors. It has resulted in a number of deaths. It has missed the suspect and hit innocent bystanders. It should be banned for this reason alone. But it is also making people much more ready to acceting that the police should be routinesly arned with guns. This cannot be allowed to happen.
