Create a just healthcare plan now

We the undersigned believe that high quality health care is the right of all citizens of this nation.  We further believe that it is the responsibility of the government of this nation to lead by example, rather than by dogma or rhetoric.

Therefore, since the members of the three branches of government receive complete and excellent health care free of charge and since that healthcare is effective throughout the remainder of their lives, without risk or threat of cancellation or alteration in terms or premiums, we believe that every citizen of this nation should have access to the same level of coverage for the same price.

We call upon the members of Congress and the White House to introduce and pass legislation that will provide the same level of health care coverage as enjoyed by the members of the three branches of government or, failing in that, to resign the coverage afforded them, and paid for the taxpayers of this nation, and to adopt the same coverage, at their own expense, as the poorest citizen of this nation has available to them.
