Dental For the Disabled
Medicaid does not cover dental care for disabled adults. There are thousands of disabled American citizens of whom are living well below the poverty line who cannot afford a dental cleaning or filling.
Please petition President Obama and Congress to add dental care to Medicaid. The disabled citizens deserve dental care too.
We the undersigned ask that dental care for adults in the form of check ups, cleanings, and fillings be covered by Medicaid. Medicaid being the insurance provided to the disabled, there is no way for the disabled to recieve dental care.
Some of the poorest people in this country are not recieving any type of dental care and have no way to be able to afford it.
With no check ups, no cleanings, no fillings, literally no dental care at all until the teeth decay so badly an extraction is needed, and it is inevitable. Without dental care they will decay and one by one be extracted until they are all removed.
Please stop this from happening. The disabled deserve dental care.
