Ease restrictions on Methadone Maintenance Programs and their staff.

Restrictions on Methadone Maintenance programs in the state of Tennessee are absolutely ridiculous.  You are lucky if you can even make it to a stabilizing dosing level.  You are treated like criminals, when in fact most of us are there to get counseling, see doctor's and yes, pick up our medication.  In the state of Tennessee it is virtually impossible to make it to the highest level, which is phase 27. That means that you only have to come in once a month  Just to our South in Georgia and also in Alabama things are totally different.   You are treated with respect and like a human being.    They tend to shove us in there like cattle and don't care about the people need to get to work, or even care.  Please sign this petition and then if you are not familiar with the program,get informed because it will definitely help any community that these programs are located.
