FORCE OREGON TO DROP STATE TAX
I am writing to speak out for all Washington residents that are forced to work in Oregon.
Oregon residents drive to Washington every day taking up many of jobs and promising careers. This forces Washington residents to travel over the river in search for work in Oregon. Oregon is one of very few states that still have a state tax. Washington residents are forced to pay their tax if working in Oregon. So this raises the question. Why should we have to pay state tax when we do not reside in Oregon?
Oregon residents also come over and shop using there id so they do not pay tax on purchases. Where is our id for Washington residents that are employed in Oregon also paying that same state tax?
My family has been forced to work in Oregon off and on for many years. Washington residents that work in Oregon have paid trillions for what?
Please help me get Oregon to drop their state tax or at least get them to not take tax from people that do not reside in there state.
