William Reed,a man from White Cloud, Michigan has been caught on tape for torturing his 3 dogs. He kept his dogs chained outside day and night. He beat them with chains and shovels, kicked them , choked them and threw them against their dog house. He also had duct taped their mouth and paws in the past. He would stand on their feet while he beat them with chains so the dogs could not move. He would abuse the dogs during their "morning feedings". The dogs would eat and he would abuse them. His neighbor stated this went on for daily for years and would plea with this monster to stop. He only beat them more and stated they were "
his dogs and could do what he wanted to them." William Reed has been arrested but only on misdemeanor charges! He is only going to serve
possibly 93 days!!! This is outrageous!!! The laws in Michigan must be changed! Statistics show that people who abuse animals are more likely to abuse children, spouses and significant others. We also need an animal abuse registery for those who abuse animals. ( similar to a sex offender registery) This will help notify animals shelters, neighbors, employers and even potential dates about people who abuse animals. By enforcing stricter laws, harsher penalties and an animal abuse registry; I believe it will make a difference by decreasing animal abuse. Lets make a change! Keep monsters like Reed in jail longer!!
