RE-OPEN ADELAIDE HOUSE!!!

For more than 60 years, Adelaide House has been a place for women and children to find emergency housing, meals, crisis intervention, and 24 hour support.  Annually, more than 1000 people find hope through the kind services provided by the staff at this great place.  Unfortunately, too often our elected officials choose to ignore the poor or those in need of help.  If there can't be a profit made, it simply doesn't matter to our government.  However, this is not what our country, our province, or our city is about.  This petition is designed to gather as many signatures as possible, to show that people want and need a place like Adelaide House.  With enough support, maybe we can re-open this great institution that has been a part of our culture for many years!
