S. O. S. Save Our Shelter

Shasta County Animal Regulation Shelter is on the chopping block and we the citizens of the County of Shasta DO NOT want this to happen. We are circulating this petition to raise public awarness of the plight of our County maintained Shelter and Stop the closure and transfer of services.
The loss of the County Shelter means a loss in freedom to choose where your adoption pet will be sent for spay/neuter service and many other choices which are available from this Shelter.
FYI: Marin is the ONLY County in California that contracts out Animal Services.
They are a small WEALTHY County, Median Income $86,658, Residents below Povery level - 7.3%, Median Home Value - $880,000
