Save Illusions in Twirling!!!

This petition is for athletes, coaches, judges, parents and fans of baton twirling who believe there is a place for illusions in our sport.  We request that instead of eliminating illusion all together that instructional materials on technique, safety and proper evaluation of illusions be made available. Regulations on the use of illusions are a very worthy topic of discussion but eliminating illusion would do nothing but further hurt the sport.  There is a desperate need for judges training (especially in the evaluation of variety) and proper technique training.  Illusions, with proper instruction, execution and evaluation, can be a beautiful and effective asset to a twirler’s routine.  Please Mr. Sartell do not take this wonderful element out of our sport…  This petition will be printed and sent to Mr. Sartell and other important NBTA leaders.  If you want to see illusions remain in our sport please sign this petition.  Thanks!
