No More Confederate Flag In Front of SC Capitol Building
- par: Adrian Holman
- destinataire: State Government of South Carolina
South Carolina is the only state that flies the Confederate Flag in front of the State Capitol Building in Columbia, SC. The Confederate Flag is a symbol of racial injustice and slavery. People in the 1860's fought and died in the Civil War so that all people in the United States of America could be free. The Confederates lost the Civil War; therefore, the flag of losers should not be flown in front of a state government building. You can sign the petition here on this site or at

http://act.ly/2bu. Let the state of South Carolina know that racism will no longer be tolerated.
We the undersigned choose to focus on the future instead of holding on to the past. Even though the Confederacy lost the Civil War, your state continues to fly the Confederate Flag in front of your State Capitol Building. The flag is a representation of losing and it should be taken down unless you believe that the state of South Carolina is associated with losing.
