Thanks to Fire Air Water and Earth

Here are some reasons I believe that we are all the living elements that you see around us:

When we are born we draw together atoms as biologically cells multiply and create a body which is composed of bone (rock) flesh (earth) blood (water) and brain electricity (lightning fire).

Everyday on the planet we must consume water, animals/plants (earth/atoms), and receive magnetic energy fields that we are surrounded with all around us.

Lightening is fire, as someone who has seen a lightning bolt hit the street outside of my window, it became evident that this is true. Electricity hitting the earth up close looks like a giant beam of flame emerging from water up in our skies.

The planet is also elemental.
It's water:
Rivers, oceans, puddles, aquaducts..and it's living organisms body fluids. Anyone who has a shower need only turn on their shower's to receive water's presence. It is well known that our very existence relies on it, ask anyone who's thirsty and has nothing to drink what they want most.

Also as seen in highly magnified photography (as seen in the movie What the bleep do we know) water also changes shape based on the energy it encounters on a molecular level. Is it any wonder that people have had problems surrounding their blood and the systems which carry it, and our filtration systems and digestive systems? We are what we put in the water, we are as polluted as most oceans and rivers, and we are affected by our thoughts like water is effected by energy. This includes the whole magnetism created by our experiences with others. Everything that is capable of receiving energy fields, are attached to everything's thought, brain waves, and experience (which if you study science you know is defined by our ability to electrify brain synapses). This is at heart all part of teaching you that water itself is a healing energy. If you change it at a molecular level and charge it with the right type of magnetism it trickles towards streams that are like itself. Which can explain a lot of humanity and animals being nomadic in prehistory.

The planet also is home to a baby star. Underneath in the molten liquid fire of the center of the planet warmth and energy are constantly being put into this experience of this planet. It's Fire is both visible and invisible. Physicists have researched other planes of existance, supposed dimensions that exist in the form of pure energy, some speculate that in this form energy doesn't draw atoms into matter but exists alive in a completely electric experience. Invisible fire is electricity, and magnetic electricity is just called energy. Fire is also a source of heat, and so is the transformation of matter into energy (which itself is a type of fire). Electricity sets fire to matter when it tries to get grounded, which in itself is a return of the energy produced by fire that lives underneath water (oceans) and rock (Tectonic plates).

Earth is the easiest to see, while also being the name for our planet Earth also describes our basic matter which is dirts, sands, and other forms of matter that are created through the bodies of all things on this planet. Our bodies are itself the Earth living, and with these bodies we may move matter within this planet which itself is a bigger elemental being that we exist inside.

Air is the source of our communication it also is electrically charged with the energy that our synapses firing and our thought brain patters create. It carries scent and oxygenates our lungs which allows us to make ourselves charged with energy.

All of our elements must experience the pollution that it's our elemental beings create, and yet they bless us every day with an ability to draw invisible fire into matter to allow this elemental experience. The elements rely on each other for survival in this form and it is doubtful that you wont find another where you find one.
