The United States is one of the worst polluters in the world. About 25% of all the pollution in the world is from the U.S., and this is not helping combat the global climate crisis. Global Warming is a worldwide issue, and if we don%u2019t start doing our part, we won%u2019t be able to solve domestic our environmental disaster, and we will not be setting good examples for developing industrializing countries. The time is now for the citizens of the United States and other countries as well to say enough it enough. We are starting to do our part, but we need the federal government to start the environmental movement on a positive foot. We need to start raising car mpg standers, put limitations on the amount of pollution that factories are allowed to produce, and have better plans for renewable resources (wind, solar). If we don%u2019t start taking action as one body, the earth%u2019s climate will be at an even greater risk for catastrophe. We%u2019re ready to tell the world that we%u2019re ready to help. We also are ready for the Federal government to get involved.
We, the undersigned believe that it is time to take action and stop Global Warming now! The U.S. is one of the biggest polluters in the world, and to stop this climate crisis, we must lead by example. We can do this in many ways, starting with limiting CO2 and using renewable resources very soon.
