Install a Concrete Platform for the Commuters at the Fort Hunt/Elkin Intersection

Currently, because there is no platform opposite the intersection of Fort Hunt Road and Elkin Street, the commuters that take the bus North stand in mud or in the road when it rains. I feel this is unacceptable because there are bus stops at which there are far fewer patrons that do have a platform. I also feel that to stand in the road, especially when it's raining, is incredibly dangerous. I would like to show our legislators that their constituents agree that we should use our tax payer money to give back to the community by funding and maintaining a concrete platform for the bus stop in question, by way of this petition.
