Vick was the mastermind behind his dog fighting operation. He bankrolled it, gave it a home base, encouraged it, and enjoyed it.
In the backyard of his Virginia home were mass graves of pit bulls that had fought for him or had been torn apart serving as bait dogs in practice sessions. The surviving dogs were found barely alive, beaten, starved, tortured and chained to concrete slabs.
Do you want your children idolising a moster who once, grabbed the paws of a little red dog and held it over his head, like a jump rope, slamming the animal on the ground again and again until it's head was completely smashed open.
Vick admitted any dog that did not perform well in a fight he drowned, electrocuted, hung, shot or used as a bait dog to train other dogs.
