This petition is to stand against the transfer of the Trinity elementary school principals.
With two out of the four elementary principals being within a couple years of retiring, we do not feel it in the best interest of our children to switch the elementary principals in the Trinity school district. Part of being a good principal is knowing the students, families, and facility in your building. Switching administration multiple times within a few years would be an unnecessary distraction for students and facility alike. Moving all four principals makes all the elementary schools less safe. LESS SAFE – is that what we want kids to feel? Is that what we want parents to feel? Are we supposed to trust an administration that makes decisions that make our children LESS SAFE? What could possibly be more important than that?
The Trinity Area School mission statement implies the school and parents work together....please don't make a hasty decision that so many parents are opposed to.
