He Chased Her Cat Down and Slit Its Throat

A horrific ordeal unfolded in Minnesota recently, and ended in the mauling of a beloved cat.

Allegedly, an acquaintance of the cat's owner entered her home and announced that he wanted to hurt her beloved pet. It's unclear what had unfolded between the two people before, but it seemed like he wanted revenge for something.

So he proceeded to chase her cat with a knife, the poor thing terrified and desperate to escape.

And the cat's owner thought it did escape -- it ran out of the residence, and her brother helped to disarm the attacker of his knife.

But later, when the cat came back home, her owner learned the truth: the poor cat's throat had been cut, and its eye had gone foggy. The poor thing was out there suffering from injuries from this brutal attack for who knows how long!

Sign the petition to demand justice! This man must be held accountable for what he did to this innocent animal.

Whatever interpersonal issue this man had with the cat's owner, the answer is never violence -- especially not against an innocent animal! This cat did nothing to deserve such horrible cruelty.

Apparently the man was intoxicated when this all happened, which is no excuse. Clearly he is a danger to animals and people alike! If he felt comfortable walking into someone else's home and attacking their pet with a blade, imagine what he could do to another human being.

What's worse still is the man is denying slashing the cat's throat -- he claims that if he did, it was an "accident." The man declared he was going to hurt the cat, chased it with a knife, and then its throat was cut. Does that sound like an accident to you?
