Small Farms Are Needed For A Basic Change In America

We the undersigned believe this is an essential change needed in America. Remember the song "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?" Well, where have all the small farmers gone? Remember them, the "backbone of the American economy"? Wonder one of the main reasons why food prices are so high and quality is low? No small farmers. I would suggest to anyone that will listen, especially you President Obama, whom I fully support and believe will create needed change in this country, that you, President Obama, initiate legislation to fund starting small farmers and funding those of us with years of farming experience who were pushed out by corporate farms and "megafarmers" starting in the 1980's through now. We have the knowhow to farm with smaller expenses involved and can produce much higher quality food on fewer acres. We just need the land and startup expenses to do it. Can you help us? We do not have the money to pay expensive lobbyists to "buy" legislation. If you want a real change in America, start where America started....in the fields and land of small American farmers.
