There are only 2 high-end extended-stay hotels in Asheville, NC-Homewood Suites and Residence Inn. Many months ago, Asheville finally got a Hyatt hotel, but it was the Hyatt Place.
The reason we want a Hyatt House in Asheville is because the Homewood Suites in that town has no 2-bedroom suite (highest is a 1-bedroom with 2 queens) and the Residence Inn in that town is somewhat dated (from what I've experienced). I also want Hyatt to expand in that town, because Hyatt Place is not cutting it. I also stayed at a Hyatt House in Bridgewater, NJ with my dad when I was 15 and loved it.
If this ever does happen, it might complement the Homewood Suites and Residence Inn. I know Hyatt hotels can get expensive, but the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House have good rates. And I'm hoping if this hotel ever does see Asheville, put Blu-Ray players in the rooms, as long as you stick to the 2D models with no Wi-Fi. I mean, Blu-Ray players are under $80 nowadays, and that one resort I stayed at in Hawaii had a PS3 as a Blu-Ray player.
