Give the 'Govenors Mansions'(which is really the people's property) to the Homeless..or Sell Them.

WE THE PEOPLE allow the affulent elected employees whom we call govenors to live in mansions while they already have nice homes.  Shouldn't we instead let the homeless live there or at least sell them and use the profits from each state to be used to feed the hungry,finance homeless shelters.etc?  Why do we allow those who have more than they need to have more while in these tough times we don't do enough for those who don't?
